Laser tattoo removal is effective, simple, safe and produces fantastic results.

Its also more affordable than you might think!

Whether you are looking for complete removal of a tattoo or for partial removal, such as a name within a tattoo or fading in preparation for a new tattoo cover up,  this is the treatment for you.

How Does It Work?

Using the laser, powerful pulses of energy are aimed at the unwanted tattoo.  The energy shatters the ink particles into tiny particles. The body then absorbs these ink fragments through the immune system over the following weeks.  This process of fragmenting the ink particles requires numerous sessions depending on the depth of the ink.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

It usually takes several treatments for complete removal.  On average 8-12 sessions will be required for a complete removal. Some Amateur tattoos can be removed in as little as 2 sessions.

During your consultation, following an assessment of you skin type, your tattoo will be assessed using the Kirby-Desai scale to give you an estimate of the number of sessions required for the desired results.

How Long Does It Take To Remove a Tattoo?

Sessions are scheduled around 6-8 weeks apart to allow your body to absorb the fragmented ink.  Therefore complete removal will take several months.

What Colour Tattoos Can Be Removed?

The laser safely and effectively removes most colours. Black is the easiest colour, followed closely by most dark colours.  White, green and yellow ink are the more difficult to remove.

Will The Tattoo Completely Go?

Complete removal of a tattoo is based on several factors – The size, location, original application, age, and colour of the tattoo, as well as the health of the client and their body’s ability to heal.

Newer tattoos are generally more difficult to remove.

Does It Hurt?

Yes, you will feel the laser but it is certainly bearable.  Numbing creams can be used during your treatment sessions to minimise your discomfort.  You will be advised of suitable options during your initial consultation.

Can I Re-Ink Over A Removed Tattoo?

Yes, it is perfectly safe to have a new tattoo over skin that has been treated with the laser.  The beauty of this is you don't have to have a complete removal for most cover-ups, generally slight fading is all that is needed
